Smallest, Lightest SOA Style DOT Approved Beanie Helmet – Matte Black
Experience the perfect combination of safety and style with the Smallest, Lightest SOA Style Beanie Helmet from Gear Rider. This low-profile, DOT-approved helmet offers maximum protection without the bulk, making it ideal for riders who want a sleek, minimalist design.
The matte black finish provides a timeless, rugged look inspired by the iconic SOA style, while the ultra-lightweight shell ensures all-day comfort without neck strain. Designed to eliminate the “mushroom head” effect, this helmet offers a snug and comfortable fit thanks to its premium inner liner.
Perfect for everyday rides or long journeys, the Beanie Half Helmet balances style, comfort, and safety in one compact package. Available in multiple sizes, it's the ultimate choice for riders looking to make a statement on the road.
Unique Features:
- High-Impact ABS Shell: This helmet is engineered with a robust ABS shell, known for its ability to significantly diffuse impact energy. This feature enhances rider safety by distributing the force of impacts, ensuring maximum protection in the event of a collision.
- Comfortable Fit: Designed to snugly fit the contours of your head, this helmet reduces the risk of lifting at high speeds. The secure fit not only increases safety but also contributes to a more comfortable ride, even during long journeys.
- Ratchet Design Quick Release: The helmet incorporates a ratchet design for its quick-release strap, allowing for easy adjustments. This means you can achieve a perfect, secure fit every time, enhancing both safety and comfort.
- Fabric Liner: The interior is lined with a specially designed fabric that not only keeps the helmet fresh but also significantly reduces the 'itch factor' often associated with helmet wear. This ensures a more comfortable and irritation-free experience.
Standard Features:
- D.O.T. FMVSS No.218 & AS/NZS 1698 Compliance: Our helmet meets or exceeds these rigorous safety standards. This compliance is a testament to its superior design and the commitment to rider safety.
- Ultra-Lightweight Design: Weighing less than a standard bottle of water, this helmet provides comfort without sacrificing safety. Its lightweight nature makes it ideal for prolonged use, reducing neck strain and enhancing the riding experience.
- Low Profile with DOT Certification: Despite its sleek, low profile, this helmet maintains DOT certification, providing the perfect balance of style and safety.
- 1" Thick Polystyrene Protection: The helmet includes a 1-inch-thick layer of polystyrene, a material known for its impact-absorbing properties, meeting the minimum requirement for DOT certification.
- Quick Release Safety Strap: This feature ensures that the helmet can be easily and quickly put on or taken off, which is particularly convenient in emergency situations or for short trips.
- Fiberglass Shell with High Impact Absorption: In addition to the ABS shell, the helmet features a fiberglass layer, further enhancing its ability to diffuse impact energy effectively.
Weight: Only 1lb and 5oz / 600±50g
How to correctly measure your head: take a tape measure just above your eyebrow around your head just at the top of your ears. If your head measures in between sizes order the size smaller. Our helmets should fit snug when new, they stretch and mold to the shape of your head after short usage.
